Ezra 厄斯德拉

Chapter 1 After the Jewish people had been in Babylon about 70 years, the Lord moved the heart of the king of Persia to free the Jews. The king also told the Jews to re-build their temple in Jerusalem.	第 1 章犹太人在巴比伦大约七十年后，主感动波斯王的心，释放犹太人。君王还告诉犹太人，在耶路撒冷重建他们的殿宇。

Chapters 2, 3 About 50,000 Jews returned to Israel after 70 years of exile in Babylon. The returnees gathered in Jerusalem for worship. They were overcome with joy.	第 2、3 章被放逐到巴比伦七十年后，大约五万犹太人返回以色列。回归者为崇拜聚集在耶路撒冷。他们充满喜悦。
Dear God, please help all exiles return to their homeland	亲爱的神，请帮助所有放逐者返回他们的家园
Chapter 4 Having returned from exile, the Jews started to rebuild their temple in Jerusalem. But some enemies of Israel tried to frighten and dishearten the Jews from rebuilding the temple.	第 4 章从放逐回来，犹太人开始在耶路撒冷重建他们的殿宇。但是一些以色列的敌人，尝试吓唬和挫折犹太人重建殿宇的勇气。

Chapters 5, 6 The prophets Haggai and Zechariah encouraged the people in the rebuilding of the temple. Despite opposition, the Jews kept on rebuilding the temple.	第 5、6 章先知哈盖和匝加利亚鼓励人们重建殿宇。尽管反对，犹太人继续进行重建殿宇。
Dear God, please help me be a person of encouragement for others	亲爱的神，请帮助我成为别人的鼓励者
Chapter 7 Ezra was a scholar who loved to study the Law of the Lord. He was a descendant of Aaron. The Lord moved the heart of the king of Persia to grant any request that Ezra made to help the Jews. Ezra prayed: "Blessed be the Lord our God, for moving the king's heart to look favorably on the rebuilding of our temple."	第 7 章厄斯德拉是位经师，他喜欢研究主的法律。他是亚郎的后裔。主感动波斯王的心，准许厄斯德拉所提出帮助犹太人的任何请求。厄斯德拉祈祷：“赞美主我们的神，因感动君王的心，赞同重建殿宇。”

Chapters 8, 9, 10 Before the Jews left Babylon, Ezra had organized them to pray and fast for a safe journey. When the Jews reached Jerusalem, Ezra dissolved any marriages that had been arranged with foreign women while the Jews were in Babylon.	第 8、9、10 章犹太人离开巴比伦之前，厄斯德拉安排他们，为一路平安而祈祷和禁食。当犹太人到达耶路撒冷，厄斯德拉解除犹太人在巴比伦时与外邦女子约定的任何婚姻关系。

Nehemiah 乃赫米雅

Chapters 1 - 4 Nehemiah was cupbearer for the king of Persia. He heard how the Jews who had returned to Jerusalem were facing many difficulties. Nehemiah received permission from the king to go to Jerusalem and help rebuild the city. Nehemiah then supervised the re-building of Jerusalem's wall, even though some foreigners in Jerusalem made fun of him. When the workers were ridiculed by foreigners, Nehemiah said to the workers: "Do not be afraid of them. Just keep your mind on the Lord."	第 1 - 4 章乃赫米雅是波斯王的司酒长。他听到返回耶路撒冷的犹太人，怎样面对许多困难。乃赫米雅获得君王的批准去耶路撒冷，并帮助重建城市。乃赫米雅其后监督重建耶路撒冷的城墙，即使在耶路撒冷的一些外邦人取笑他。当工人被外邦人嘲笑时，乃赫米雅对工人说： “不要害怕他们。只想着主。”

Chapter 5 The people were very poor and could not pay their debts. Therefore Nehemiah cancelled all debts owed by poor people. Nehemiah was a just and kind leader. He even used his own money to pay his expenses, and never took the salary that he could have claimed.	第 5 章百姓很穷，无法偿还他们的债务。因此乃赫米雅取消所有被穷人所欠的债务。乃赫米雅是一名公正和善良的领袖。他甚至用自己的钱，支付他的开支，而从不支取他可以索取的俸禄。
Dear God, to reduce government corruption in all countries, please raise up more leaders like Nehemiah	亲爱的神，减少所有国家的政府腐败，请兴起更多像乃赫米雅那样的领袖
Chapter 6 As Nehemiah and the Jews rebuilt the wall some people continued to obstruct them. But with God's help the wall was finished in 52 days.	第 6 章当乃赫米雅和犹太人重建城墙，一些人继续阻挠他们。但有神的帮助，城墙在五十二天完成。
Dear God, please help us do your work, despite difficulties	亲爱的神，请帮助我们执行你的工作，尽管困难
Chapters 7 - 13 The wall of Jerusalem was finally rebuilt and doors were set in place in the wall. In the seventh month of the lunar calendar Nehemiah assembled all the people and read to them the Book of the Law of Moses. This was the first time that most of the people had heard the words of Moses' Book. The people were grateful to God and praised him with great happiness. The people also promised God that they would serve him more faithfully in the future. But while Nehemiah was away on a visit to the king the people and leaders became careless about the Law. When Nehemiah returned to Jerusalem he brought the people back to proper observance of the Law	第 7 - 13 章耶路撒冷的城墙最终被重建以及在城墙安了门。在农历七月乃赫米雅集合所有人然后给他们读梅瑟的法律书。大部分人是第一次听到梅瑟书里的话。百姓感谢神并非常快乐地赞美他。百姓也答应神他们将更坚贞地侍奉他。但当乃赫米雅离开去探望君王百姓和领袖对法律变得不在意。当乃赫米雅返回耶路撒冷，他使百姓恢复正确的遵守法律
