Ezekiel
| Chapters 1 -
3 About 5 years after the first group of Jews were exiled to Babylon, Ezekiel received a vision while he was with the exiles in Babylon. Ezekiel saw the glory
of the Lord and he heard a voice saying: Whether the people
listen to you or not, You are to be a sentry
to the House of Israel, |

Lord, please help people listen to your message and obey it |

Chapters 4 - 11
Ezekiel used many images to describe the fall of Jerusalem. God used Ezekiel to say to the exiles: "I will bring you back to your homeland of Israel. |

Grant to us, O Lord, a heart renewed |

Chapters 12 - 18
Ezekiel
spoke God's message for the false
prophets:
Ezekiel
also called on the people to stop
their idolatry. - A good person is law-abiding and honest. "God takes no delight in the death
of a sinner. |

|
Lord, please help me to avoid evil.....and do more good |

Chapters 19 - 32 Ezekiel continued to speak God's message: "Since my people have forgotten me and
followed false ways, But eventually my people and peoples of all
nations |
|
|
Lord, please help all peoples know and love you |
|
|
Chapters 33, 34 God told Ezekiel to say this to Israel's leaders: You have failed to make the weak sheep strong, You have failed to bring back stray sheep On the contrary, you have been cruel to the sheep Therefore I will look after my flock myself. I will look for the lost one, bring back the stray, I will also judge the sheep themselves. I will raise up a special shepherd |

Chapters 35 - 48 Through Ezekiel, God kept calling on the people to turn from their sins and remember their Creator. God said he would bring back Israel's exiles
to their homeland. God said the people would re-build the Temple
in Jerusalem, The people would once again remember God. |
